About Me

What started out in early 2010 as just a way to keep in touch with my family while I was galavanting through Europe, has now turned into a passion and my way of life!  Since the beginning of this website, I have been documenting travels, sharing new found knowledge, and giving tips to other travelers.  This blog has also opened up opportunities for me in the travel writing industry that I never knew existed!

My home base is Philadelphia, but you’ll rarely find me there.  Most of my time I’m on the road living out of my suitcase.  On my quests, you’ll most likely find me searching for the local beers, taking pictures of history, or having a run in or two with old friends.

Currently, I fund my vagrant lifestyle through a myriad of tricks and trades I’ve developed over the years.  These include working as a freelance graphic designer, writing freelance travel articles, and selling my photography!  I have also just become the editor for Really Philly, a website dedicated to the every day things that make Philadelphia hilarious.

Anyway, when I’m not working, I enjoy parkour and urban expeditions.  I’m a hardcore history nerd, I’ve turned picnicking into an extreme sport, I play the violin and piano, I bike with heels, bake with beer, I taught yoga during my travels in Germany, and I’ve dabbled with the idea of becoming a chocolatier. Phew! I’m a collector of hobbies.
