Shortly after my vacation this summer traveling in Hamburg, I moved into the city of Philadelphia. I had always lived right outside of the city in South Jersey, but I’ve denounced my New Jersey citizenship and declared my self a citizen of the great state of Pennsylvania (Pretzelvania as I like to call it). But I wasn’t alone on my journey back to the United States. Jan arrived shortly after I did and set up camp in Boston, where he interned for half a year.
FINALLY! Jan and I were on the same continent and in the same timezone! From August to February, Jan and I saw each other every weekend, alternating who would travel on which weekend. These past few months were some of the greatest and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. They were just so wonderful, that I have decided that I will be joining him shortly in his humble abode in North Germany this summer. So we can finally turn this two year long distance relationship into…. well… not a fricken long distance relationship.
While I’m preparing for my leap overseas (again), I’ll be sharing with you some of my favorite experiences from my United States travel, covering my favorite places in Philly, awesome things to do in Boston, and even that day I went to Florida so that I could put my feet in the Gulf of Mexico!
