A little late I know, but I have to make my study abroad blog complete by describing my last week. My last week in Germany was one of my favorite weeks because my family flew all the way from America just to visit the place that I began calling home.
We even had our own adventure down into Bavaria to the quaint village of Schwangau to visit King Ludwig’s famous castle Neuschwanstein. It truly is a magical place! I understand now why some of the most famous fairy tales come from Germany.. I also know where Disney got the idea inspiration for every single one of their castles!
There seriously is nothing like just seeing those beautiful Alps.
Overall, my trip to Germany was probably the most epic and adventurous (and truly spontaneous) thing I’ve ever done in my life time. I wouldn’t change it for the world. It was perfect. I met new great friends, and was also given the unique opportunity to reconnect with an old friend (Jan KAGEL!!) in ways that I never new we could… err.. reCONNECT! lol.
So blog.. my study abroad semester is over, but surely not forgotten. For there will be many more adventures to come.
Indeed (in der Tat), there are adventures coming to me this August. 😀
